Peter Beresford, Professor of Social Policy, Brunel University and Director of the Centre for Citizen Participation, who talked about methods for user-controlled research, key issues and overcoming potential barriers drawing on his SSCR-funded Scoping Review
Dr Sarah Carr, Sarah Carr and Associates Ltd, Universities of Birmingham and York and co-Vice Chair, National Survivor User Network (NSUN). Sarah talked about her experiences of developing an academic research programme bid that includes user-controlled investigations.
