- The Fistula and the importance of patient care from pre-fistula operation (vascular), post fistula operation (vascular), pre-dialysis (pre-dialysis nurses), post-transplant (transplant team) and what people’s experiences have been documented
- The psychological aspects of a patient on a day-to-day basis living with a Fistula and people’s perception of what this can be and the reality
- The importance of continuous education to all Medical Staff on the Fistula and to take this insight away and bring into their arena
- The Fistula Awareness Band and its use and comfort blanket for the patient.
