The event brought together representatives from large and small research funding organisations, research commissioners and other groups and individuals with experience of patient and public involvement in research priority setting and commissioning.

The purpose of the meeting was to reflect on progress and to consider the future development of patient and public involvement in research priority setting and commissioning processes.
