Abstract:
This paper reports on the findings of an evaluation of the California Breast Cancer Research Programme's initiative to promote community-researcher collaboration in all aspects of the research process. Based on the lessons learnt, it draws a number of recommendations for funders on supporting researcher-community partnerships.
