Putting it into Practice
Abstract:
This report summarises the discussions from a series of seminars that took place at different locations in England and brought together different stakeholders. The seminars covered four topics:
- involving service users in traditional or mainstream research
- involving service users in peer review
- involving people from black and minority ethic communities in research
- emancipatory research.
Much of the discussions centred around what good practice might look like and the participants also drew out a number of recommendations for each of the four topics.
