Abstract: This guidance is based on the lessons learnt at four pilot sites involved in setting up processes for making decisions about when to help with recruitment to research. It has been written for people in health charities who are asked to make decisions about whether to help researchers find people to take part in research. It aims to help people make these kinds of decisions in a more robust and systematic way.
