Abstract:

This article reports on the experiences of working with older people on an evaluation of a Gloucester Partnership for Older People project, which aimed to improve the quality of life for care home residents. Older people were recruited and trained to become interviewers and conducted interviews with care home residents. They report on their experiences in terms of what helped the involvement to work well. The authors have drawn out a series of recommendations for practice.
