Abstract: This study analysed the reports from the research projects registered on the Mental Health Research Network’s database to look at the impact of involvement on the research. The statistical analysis found that studies that reported higher levels of involvement were more likely to have reached their targets for recruiting participants to the research. They also showed that involvement had increased over time and some funders had more involvement in their studies than others.
