Abstract: Beyond the Usual Suspects was a three year project funded by the Department of Health. The aim of the project was to find out why some groups face more barriers than others to getting involved and how they might be fully and equally included in the future. Shaping Our Lives have published the findings from the research and created a practical guide on how more diverse user involvement can be achieved.
